Communication skills, a core element in the care of patients with cancer, is essential for properly managing the expectations of patients and carers, especially in difficult consultations like breaking bad news and in end of life care situations. In Philippine society, Political leaders, appointive officials, citizens, civil society and the private sector all have a role towards the prevention and punishment of corruption. Political leaders could streamline and clarify the regulatory framework as it is the single most effective anti-corruption measure. It also reduces transaction costs and improves economic efficiency. By doing so, you can make the procedures more predictable which makes actions out of line more noticeable and corruption is harder to commit. Also the punishment for those caught should be swift and certain so that it may be more effective than severe punishments with an extremely low probability of being imposed.
